Fudgy Cake Pops

Do you love chocolate? Do you love cake pops? If you answered yes, then this recipe is just what you need. I had been getting a couple requests to make chocolate cake pops, but the first time I made them the recipe was different, and were too soft and some fell apart when I dipped them into the chocolate. So, I decided to look further into making chocolate cake pops, and found this recipe. These cake pops are fudgy, and very delicious. I like to believe they are a perfect mix between cake and a brownie. I hope you give this recipe a try, and see how chocolatey and delicious they are.

In a medium saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips and butter together; stir until smooth.


Remove from heat and pour into medium bowl.

Add sugar and cocoa; mix until blended.


Add eggs, one at a time mixing well after each addition.

Add flour, and salt; stir until blended.


Spoon batter into bottom half of pan. Fill each well so it mounds over the top of the pan.



Bake at 325 for 15-18 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove pops from pan and let them cool completely. Decorate as desired.


Fudgy Cake Pops
Ingredients
- 3/4 c Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 c Butter
- 3/4 c Sugar
- 3 TBSP Cocoa
- 2 Eggs
- 3/4 c Flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions

Heat oven to 325 degrees

Grease pan and set aside

In medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and butter together until smooth

Remove from heat and pour into medium bowl

Add sugar and cocoa; mix until blended

Add eggs, one at a time mixing after each addition

Add flour and salt and mix well until blended

Pipe batter into pan and bake for 15-18 minutes unto toothpick comes out clean

Let cool and decorate as desired
